This teapot is partly “thrown” on the wheel and partly handbills. Where you see the seams I accentuated them as this gives this teapot more character and also added some patterns. I hand-built the handle and the spout and the lid, actually. The lid is little and has to be held while you pour :), which I do that anyhow – hold the handle with one hand while the other rests on the lid and the teapot, don’t you?? And there is one position the lid fits! As I said: character :)!
The glaze inside is thicker and all white so there is no chance the teapot can leak! It has a “foot” that has four distinct feet really and lift the body of the pot of the ground so to speak. With feet it measures: 5 1/2 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches wide, spout and lid and handle add to those measurements. The teapot weighs 3 pounds exactly.
Now, it has two cups that are made to go with it and I am listing separately. So just go to my page www.etsy.com/shop/potteryfromthesoul and find them there if you are interested in them.
As you know, all my pieces are made with love and the intention of your well being and health!
