Description
This crow feet vase is a piece of handmade pottery that is made with love and intention of joy, happiness, health and well being. It is thrown on the wheel with dark brown clay and glazes were applied to make it hold water as a vase on the inside and partly on the outside. Partly to give it more character by letting the clay speak for itself, a piece of Mother Earth that is allowed to shine through. The glaze has some drips on the upper part that remind me of corn feet!
The rim at the top has a slightly uneven “handmade” character to it and gives the vase even more of her own expression. All my pieces are made in the high desert of New Mexico and have the feeling of expansion and endless horizons.
The vase measure 6 1/2″ tall by 5″ wide and will be lovely with purple or white flowers in it or really, YOUR imagination is the limit. If you would like to check out my other vases and jugs please click here.
