Cat Hair Vase

Description

This Cat Hair Vase was handmade, thrown on the pottery wheel and fired three times, once to be bisqued, then adding a glaze inside for it to be able to be used as a vase, and then lastly taken out of the kiln at 1500 degrees and cat hair applied in this hot state.

The vase measures 6 1/2″ tall and 5 1/2″ wide. It is glazed on the inside so you can use it as a vase. I am happy to make custom orders also to keep your own pet, horse or feathered friend alive forever in form of a vase or pot or bowl. This one is made with dark brown clay, Terra Sigiliatta is applied over it which makes it white and then the hair burned the pattern into the vase’s surface.
