When I think of the horse and what it stands for several things come to mind like freedom, strength, power, soul, spirit, speed but most of all it is GRACE and BEAUTY that fascinates me in horses. The grace in their movement looks often like ballet or a dance that only the horse hears the music to. The hoofbeats on the Earth, on the sand arena, on pavement, in gravel, even in water – I remember would make a jolt go through me when I was a child and joy would come over me and actually, it still does! Where is this joy coming from and why do a lot of people have this same feeling?
I am inspired by grace and beauty and each day I find a place in my life where I can find it, incorporate it, live by it, remind myself that this is a quality I highly appreciate and value and I know because I recognize it in another it is within me too.
