It can be used as a pitcher, jug or carafe or even a vase, really – or it could be decorative next to your entrance or on your patio, to water your balcony flowers or fill up the dog water…
It was handbuilt and has character. I love the funky and the whimsical objects that make you wonder how they came into being, that are not straight or shaped perfectly, that don’t fit the mold. The glaze combination is one of my favorites between
From top, meaning the top of the handle to the bottom it measures 9 inches and is about 5 1/2 inches wide where the handle attaches to the body of the pitcher. The body itself is about 4 1/2 inches. It weighs 3 pounds 11 ounces.
The matte of the yellow is one of my favorite glazes and I love the play between the matte yellow and matte green and the glossy shiny blue. It is like water running down the pitcher, which was the intention… The foot is put onto the piece on the wheel, and yes, of course, I tried that it holds the water and doesn’t leak.
I totally love this hand-built piece that has tons of character! Made with love and intention and so much fun – You will feel it as you pour it :). Enjoy!
