Description
This is one of the first pieces I made when I learned to “fuse” things together. I love this goblet! And I love the glazes on it. There are three different glazes layered, a slightly whitish one that changes color to transparent, a blue one and a blue ash glaze that ran perfectly and gives it the silver look. In the shade it looks different than in the sun and it has interesting patterns! I have to say it is not perfect as it sits a bit crooked on the stem however it is a bit off meaning slanted which really does not matter if you turn it towards you :).
The cup itself is 2 1/2 tall x 4 1/2 wide inches, all together the goblet is 5 3/4 tall x 4 1/2 inches wide.
Have you ever had wine out of a goblet that is handmade? It is such a different and wonderful feeling ant makes any wine taste even more flavorful! Try it! It’s pretty solid!
